small amount of brown yarn, and other color yarn
size I crochet hook
40 plastic pony beads
needle for sewing yarn
*pattern is worked in rounds, do not join unless instructed to do so.
In brown yarn, rows 1-9 in back loops
Rnd1: ch 2, 6sc in second chain from hook
Rnd2: 2sc in each sc around (12)
Rnd3: *1sc, 2sc in next st*around (18)
Rnd 4: *2sc, 2sc in next st* (24)

Rnd8: *6sc, 2sc in next st* around (48)
Rnd9: *7sc, 2sc in next st* around (54)
Now in front loops
Rnd 10-17: sc in each st around, sl st into 1st sc and end off.
String pony beads onto the yarn you will be using for the frosted part of the cupcake. and join to the bottom.
Rnd 18: sc in each st around
Rnd 19: in back loops, sc in each st around
Rnd20-27: now working in front loops again. sc in each st around randomly adding a bead to your stitches like sprinkles. at end of rnd 27 slp st into 1st sc and ch 2
Rnd 28: dc in each st around, slp st into top of ch 2 join off, sew in ends
Attach frosting color to any stitch of round 19.
ch2, work 4 dc in same st, skip 2 st, work 5dc in next st...repeat this around to do a shell border for the frosting ruffle. join off and sew in ends
With frosting color ch 70, weave through dc's in rnd 28, tie together for a strap
****variation....I've started doing a different border for the frosting ruffle that I like better.
attach frosting color to any stitch of round 19, chain 4, *slip stich into next stitch, chain 4* around.
