Creamy Italian Chicken

Oh, my creamy goodness........this is simply scrumdiliumpcious. The taste however isn't even the best part, but the fact that it is cooked in the crockpot. I'm a huge crockpot lover, and cook in my crockpot at least twice a week. When you've got a housefull, and a busy daily schedule your crockpot can be your dinner savior.

You will need:

4-5 skinless boneless chicken breasts
1 packet of dry italian dressing mix
1/3 cup of water
8oz. package of cream cheese
1 can of cream of chicken soup
1 can of or a package of sliced mushrooms (I prefer fresh mushrooms)
parmesan cheese for a garnish.
1 package of penne pasta, or really any pasta you prefer

Place chicken breasts, water, and seasoning into your crockpot and cook for 2 hours on low heat.
After 2 hours mix cream cheese and soup into a bowl (use your electric mixer for ease) untill it is all good and creamy. Pour into crockpot and then pour in your mushrooms. Cook for 1 more hour. Cook pasta according to directions on package. Now serve your chicken in sauce over the pasta, sprinkle with parmesan cheese, and fresh chopped parsley if you have it. Pair this with a nice tossed salad and french bread for a lovely meal.
