I made a very yummy banana pudding the other day for a church lunch. It was a big hit. If you love bananas this dish will completely curb your sweet tooth.
You Will Need:
3 large bananas, sliced up
1 14oz. can of condensed milk
1 5oz. package of instant vanilla pudding
3 cups of milk
1 tsp. of vanilla extract
1 8oz. package of cream cheese (at room temp)
1 box of vanilla wafer cookies
1 container of whipped topping (divided in half)
What You Do:
beat cream cheese until fluffy, add condensed milk and mix untill smooth. Mix in vanilla pudding, extract and milk, beat for 3 minutes untill very smooth. Fold in 1/2 the container of whipped topping. In a 13x9 inch baking dish layer vanilla wafer cookies, top with a layer of sliced bananas. Pour pudding mixture over the bananas and smooth out. Refrigerate and let set for 2 hours. Spread other half of whipped topping over pudding. Crush 1 cup of vanilla wafer cookies and sprinkle over whipped topping.
