Basic Granola Recipe

I love making my own granola. It is so much fun adding new things to it. This time we had raisins and chocolate chips. But you can add all kinds of things: coconut, banana chips, nuts, seeds, dried fruits. Here is my basic granola recipe. At the end you just add your favorite mix ins.

4 Cups old fashioned Oats

1/2 cup honey

1 cup peanut butter

mix ins

Combine oats with honey in a large bowl, mix well. Melt peanut butter on low heat in small sauce pan. Pour over oats  mix well. Fold in all your favorite goodies. Spread onto a large baking sheet and bake at 300 for 10 mins. Stir and bake for another 10. Let cool completely before storing.
